Then we’ll dig into place value, helping students understand ones, tens, and hundreds using base-ten blocks and visuals to build strong number foundations. 🔢 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟮 focuses on composing and decomposing numbers—an important part of mental math and number flexibility. Then we’ll explore length and measurement, using tools to compare and measure objects while applying vocabulary like shorter, longer, and equal. ➕ 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟯 dives into addition and subtraction within 100. Students will use number lines, fact families, and place value strategies to solve problems, build fluency, and deepen their understanding of how numbers work together. ⏰ 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟰 explores telling time to the hour and half-hour using both analog and digital clocks, and then finish off the course by learning how to read and interpret simple charts and graphs—a great way to bring math into real-life scenarios. 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 ✅ Review: We begin by going over the topic of the day. ✅ Teacher Modeling: The teacher demonstrates with fun examples. ✅ Student Application: Learners actively participate in activities to apply their knowledge. ✅ Practice at Home: Homework/review sheets are posted so students can continue learning outside of class.
