𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗

🌟 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟭 begins by exploring 2D shapes and their attributes, learning to sort and describe shapes by sides and corners. Then we’ll dig into place value, helping students understand ones, tens, and hundreds using base-ten blocks and visuals to build strong number foundations.

🔢 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟮 focuses on composing and decomposing numbers—an important part of mental math and number flexibility. Then we’ll explore length and measurement, using tools to compare and measure objects while applying vocabulary like shorter, longer, and equal.

➕ 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟯 dives into addition and subtraction within 100. Students will use number lines, fact families, and place value strategies to solve problems, build fluency, and deepen their understanding of how numbers work together.

⏰ 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝟰 explores telling time to the hour and half-hour using both analog and digital clocks, and then finish off the course by learning how to read and interpret simple charts and graphs—a great way to bring math into real-life scenarios.

Students will have plenty of opportunities to interact with both the teacher and their peers. Everyone gets a turn to participate, ask questions, and showcase their skills during class exercises and activities. My teaching style is all about keeping it fun yet productive—so students will enjoy learning while making real progress. Lessons will include:
