Does your child enjoy numbers and demonstrate a keen interest in mathematics?
My name is Miss Beth and I am a retired elementary educator with over 30 years of classroom and online experience.
This ongoing class is geared towards advanced grade one learners.  Students should have knowledge of basic addition and subtraction as well as confidence working with numbers beyond 100.  We will meet each week to work on the following skills:  counting, comparing and ordering numbers, addition,...

Students will further develop their mathematical skills and become more confident problem solvers.

I am a licensed Canadian teacher with over 30 experience in the classroom. I specialize in literacy and numeracy intervention and curriculum design.  I have taught online through an ESL platform as well as my own private tutoring company for 6 years. I understand the importance of connecting and engaging with learners online and I pride myself on being a highly successful online educator.

Students should have paper and writing tools (dark-colored marker) or a whiteboard for each class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
