Class experience
In this Ballet Summer Dance Camp your dancer will enjoy three days of solid Ballet class! Each class begins traditional barre work. We will then stretch and work on flexibility. We will do splits, straddles and turn out exercises. Centre floor Ballet technique will then be taught. Moves such as balance, pas de bouree, glissade, pique, pique turns and chaine turns and pirouettes. Each day new technique will be added on and made more difficult. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please be sure your learner has an open space for moving, free of obstacles. A leotard, tights and ballet shoes are perfect, but not required. Long hair should be pulled up. A water bottle is always great.
