Description

Class Experience

 Students will learn how to draw a new landscape every week (city landscape, mountain landscape, and a beach landscape), while learning about depth, shading, angles, and perspective. This will be a time of guided conversation and guided drawing. I will lead the open conversation by presenting questions and feedback to each student. 

Week 1: city landscape (the depth and shapes found in the city)
Week 2: mountain landscape (shading and distance drawing needed for landscapes)
Week 3: beach...

By the end of the course, each student will know how to sketch, shade, and estbalish landscapes on their own.

Throughout the three weeks, students will be given small drawing assignments to present in the next class.

Sketch pad/paper, sketch pencils, eraser and pencil sharpener.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
