Gr. 6 – 8 | Financial Literacy & Excel Sem. Course | Cert. H. Spec. Math Teacher

This class' focus is on learning the key features of spreadsheet apps / Excel in the context of Finance by applying Math as required. Learners will build basic financial concepts of income, expenses, balancing a budget, income tax, inventory, simple and compound interest. They will apply all mathematical formulas relevant for these exercises while also learning how to use professional spreadsheet software tools. This is an unique blend of Math and IT concepts and skills within the Financial context that enable learners to benefit in their future academic, career, as well as with their personal financial decisions. Each lesson will be based on Excel exercises that learners will create using real-life applications and data.
