In this fun Spanish class with Señora Hannah, students will learn by listening, repeating, and speaking the Spanish colors with the instructor. To catch the students' interest, we will be naming the colors of different Pokémon characters. The students will repeat what the instructor says for each color, and the instructor will focus on student comprehension, pronunciation, and periodically check for understanding through informal assessments. In this class, students will learn to say, and correctly pronounce the colors in Spanish! We will be using Pokémon characters to identify different colors and practice saying them together, then independently. This class will be a fun way for students to learn the Spanish colors while talking about something they’re interested in. We will also practice some basic Spanish phrases. I encourage the kids to bring their favorite toy to class to talk about and describe in Spanish.
I studied Spanish in Costa Rica, I have a Bachelors Degree of the Arts in Spanish Education, and I taught Spanish in a public school for 1 year.
No homework, but there will be study materials, such as flash cards for the students to continue learning with once the class is over.
1 file available upon enrollmentFlash cards will be provided for the students to use after class, if they choose to study them.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
