Description
Class Experience
Artech has been teaching kids to code and get creative with technology for more than 15 years. Our instructors craft highly dynamic and creative programs and classes. We incorporate the creative arts to engage and encourage creative problem solving.
Following each class, we suggest ways that learners can apply their new skills by taking their projects further. This is optional. Homework can occupy 30 minutes to one hour
Learners will require a Windows or Mac computer with a webcam. No tablets or iPads please! Please ensure you have created a user account for your Learner on the Scratch website at https://scratch.mit.edu/ Parents can refer to Scratch's Parent page to find out more about Scratch at https://scratch.mit.edu/parents/
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
6 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
