Class Experience

In this class, we will be discussing the adventures of Amanda and Josh as they attempt to get used to the new house and town that they've moved into. They keep trying to tell their parents that things just aren't right around town, but it's not working. They found some new kids to hang out with, but these kids want to be friends forever... Can they get their parents to believe them before these new friends try to show just how long forever can be? Let's find out together!

Class will consist of instructor-directed discussion. Discussion topics will include the reader's favorite moments in the story, parts of the story they found scary, or who their favorite characters were and why. The class will conclude with a review of our feelings and opinions as we decide if we would recommend this book to a friend. We will also be discussing different literary elements as they arise such as theme, setting, and climax. Book reports and a list of literary elements will be available in the classroom during the class session.

Please do your reading before class time.

Psst! You don't have to read all of the books in the series in order to enjoy these stories!
