Class Experience

In modern times. navigating computers and being able to produce digital work is an important skill. In this class, students will learn the basics of Google Slides. Through modelling and guided practice, I will show students how to produce a digital "presentation". They will learn that Google Slides have a variety of uses. In this class, they will create a digital story while learning how to do many things within Google Slides. Each lesson will focus on a different aspect of Google Slides (i.e. basic skills of creating slides, working with text, images, transitions, animating objects, and adding links). Students will watch video instructions modelling the different skills. There will be no live classes. After watching each lesson, they will be asked to practice what they have learned through guided practice.
