Do you have a presentation to create for school? Are you struggling with how to create an attractive presentation? Perhaps you would like to learn how to add more flair to an existing presentation. If so, then this class is for you! Google Slides is an easy to use program that will allow learners to create unique presentations. In this one time class, we will begin with an introduction to Google Slides and learn how to create a basic presentation. We will learn how to personalize the presentation by changing fonts, adding images/videos, selecting a theme, adding animations and transitions, plus more. Learners will create their own presentation by following along with the steps taken in class and personalizing it to their liking. Learners should have a basic knowledge of computer skills such as copying and pasting, how to use a search engine, and typing. Learners will also need to have a Google ID to log in with.

By the end of this class, learners will be able to utilize the skills they've learned to personalize their own Google Slide presentation.Other Details

Learners will need to have a Google account. Many learners already have access to Google through a school account. If they do not already have one, please make sure to sign up for an account before class begins.

Hello there!
My name is Kathy and I have been a certified science teacher the last 20 years! My favorite classes to teach are any that have to do with the ocean, and its inhabitants. I have a degree in Marine Biology, am a certified SCUBA diver, have taught aquatic summer camps at a local aquarium, and have volunteered for multiple aquariums and rescue groups.
I also love to craft...in particular, to create things with my Cricut. I also have a degree in Fashion Design and love to sew. I look forward to adding classes that focus on each of these passions.
As a teacher, I often notice students lacking the technology skills needed to be successful in the classroom. I will also offer classes on how to use programs such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and a variety of other applications often used.
