𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
This is a Self-Paced, so there are no live sessions. Students will have access to six pre-recorded lessons that I created exclusively for Outschool. During the recordings, I share my screen so students can watch me using Google Sheets as I describe its capabilities. Learners are encouraged to use Google Sheets as they watch the recording, so that they can follow along and gain hands-on practice.

The recordings are about 9-15 minutes, but may take longer to complete, depending on if the student pauses or rewinds as they watch and complete their tasks in Google Sheets.

Students can submit their work for feedback and reach out with questions.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀?
Students do not need any experience with Google Sheets, but should have basic desktop or laptop knowledge, such as the ability to use a mouse or touch pad, be able to use a keyboard and open a program. They must have access to a free Google account in order to access Google Sheets. The account should be created prior to class, as this is not covered.
Learning Goals
Students will comprehend Google Sheets vocabulary (cell, column, row, worksheet, formula, budget, sum)
Students will be able to implement formatting (color, font, number type for currency and time, gridlines)
