Introduction to Google Docs and Slides for Beginners
This beginner-level class is designed to introduce participants to the fundamental features of Google Docs and Google Slides, two essential tools for school work, presentations, and personal projects. Through a project-based approach, participants will learn how to create, edit, format, and collaborate on documents and presentations using these versatile Google applications.

**Class Structure:**

1. **Introduction to Google Docs:**
   - Overview of Google Docs interface
   - Creating a new document
   - Basic text formatting (font styles, size, color, alignment)
   - Inserting images, links, and tables
   - Collaborating on documents (sharing, commenting, suggesting edits)

2. **Project 1: Creating a Class Essay:**
   - Participants will create a collaborative essay using Google Docs, exploring basic formatting options and collaboration features.

3. **Introduction to Google Slides:**
   - Overview of Google Slides interface
   - Creating a new presentation
   - Adding and arranging slides
   - Inserting text boxes, images, and shapes
   - Applying slide transitions and animations

4. **Project 2: Designing a Presentation:**
   - Participants will design a simple presentation using Google Slides, incorporating various slide layouts, visual elements, and transitions.

6. **Final Project: Student Choice:**
   - Participants will choose between creating a document or presentation based on their interests or school projects, applying the skills learned throughout the class.

**Requirements:**
- A Google account (participants will need to sign in to access Google Docs and Slides)
- Basic familiarity with using a web browser and navigating online applications

***Class time could go over on some days. 

By the end of the class, participants will have gained confidence in using Google Docs and Slides for creating and collaborating on documents and presentations. They will be equipped with essential skills to effectively utilize these tools for school assignments, personal projects, and other tasks requiring document and presentation creation.

over 2 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Introduction into Google Docs
 In this lesson I will give the students a quick tour of Google and then we will dive into docs. They will learn through practicing as I  teach them all the different components. We will begin a class essay.

Introduction into Google Slides
 In this lesson I will answer any questions the students might have come across while doing their practice paper. Then will learn how to create a presentation using Google Slides and create a class presentation.

Lesson 3:
Navigating the drive and organizing
 In this lesson the students will learn how to organize their dive and practice anything they still have trouble with. They will also choose their final project.

Lesson 4:
Final Presentation or Essay
 In this lesson we will go over have the drive works in general and how they can organize it. Any final questions and review what they learned.
