Class Experience

This is a 2 hour class in which students will learn how to transfer a drawing on a canvas and create an  acrylic painting  size 8x10. or 9x12 They will learn how to mix paint, what brushes to use, how to apply paint to canvas . I will email students and parents the picture and drawing we will be painting so you can print off for class for the transfer of drawing part of class than I will have the picture displayed that we will be painting as well . This class is taught in English.

Students will learn how to transfer a drawing onto a canvas , how to mix and apply acrylic paint to create a beautiful painting.

Students will need a 8x10 .or 9x12 canvas
A printed picture of the drawing (letter paper size) I will email you the day before class, a charcoal or dark pencil #5B or up,, pencil sharpener on hand. painters tape
Acrylic Paint colors-- The basic colors will be using are white ,gold,yellow, black, brown,, blue 
                                 -I recommend level 1 or 2 acrylic paint my paint palette will consist of but yours doesn't have to be exact and you can paint your unicorn what ever color you want but here are my colors I will be using titanium white, gold , cadium yellow, mars black, burnt umber, cerulean blue. If you don't have gold a yellow color would work also.
                              -recommend to have at least a small fine brush for detail and a medium size brush but these are the ones I will be using
                                  - #1 or 2 round for detail
                                 # 1 or 2 liner for detail
                                 # #3 or 4 round
                                 1/2 inch flat or filbert brush

2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
