Description
Class Experience
Students will participate in a simulation game as well as learn who the 49ers were and why they ventured out West. In addition, students will use their problem solving skills to navigate their way through real situations from this exciting period in American history. Background knowledge is not required but may come in handy. Learner progress will be monitored and adjusted throughout the game and class period.
Students will be given a game record sheet a day before. They will also need a pen or pencil.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
