Description

Class Experience

Students will have a greater understanding of the importance of goal setting, budgeting, financial aid and how these all apply to their success in college.
Hi, I'm Linda! I have almost 15 years in Higher Education, with 11 of those primarily focused on Financial Aid, Financial Literacy and Student Success. Helping students manage their financial aid, student loans and finances in college and beyond has been a passion of mine. I have worked at Private colleges, Public colleges, Community college, Graduate school and a Medical school so I know how important financial literacy is for all levels of higher education. My own education includes an MS in College Student Affairs from Nova Southeastern University and a CFEI (Certified Financial Education Instructor) certification from the National Financial Educators Council. I am currently a member of NASFAA, which is a national organization that supports Financial Aid professionals, disseminates information and advocates for Financial Aid access and info to students. I look forward to sharing important information with students to help them make the best financial decisions for their education and their lives.
No homework. Links will be provided during the workshop so that students can research these at their leisure.
