Class Experience

Celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving with creativity in our Gobble & Draw Thanksgiving Art Class! This lively and social drawing class brings the festive season to life on paper. Young artists will have a blast as they follow along with a guided, step-by-step demonstration to create Thanksgiving-themed drawings—from a cheerful turkey to a whimsical Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon, a cozy still-life, and a charming scarecrow.

In this interactive class, students will learn essential drawing techniques like shading, line work, and adding dimension, helping them make their art pop! I'll be using a pencil, a black marker, and color pencils, but students are welcome to choose whatever media they like.

Alongside learning new art skills, this class is a fantastic opportunity for kids to socialize with peers, share laughs, and express themselves creatively. By adding their unique touches to each piece, they’ll gain confidence while making art that’s all their own.

The artists will be shown how to draw and create shading and highlighting on their drawings. We will also be socializing. To encourage socialization, we may share jokes and/ or play a round or two of "Would You Rather."
