We are ALL ready to get outside! The sunshine and breeze is good for the body and soul, so in this virtual class, we will actually leave our computers behind for a while! 1) Gather together and introduce ourselves and talk about bugs that are common to our areas. 2) We will leave our computers and go outside and attempt to catch a few bugs. 3) We will show the bugs to the class. 4) The class will try to identify the bugs. 5) Students will release their bugs back into the great...
Students will gain an appreciation for the great outdoors, and a little about insects. Students will be able to answer: what are characteristics of insects?
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
You may want to help your child safely collect insects so as not to harm themselves or the insect.
