Greek Mythology and particularly this subject matter will contain images on the subjects of war which may contain violence and lead to political discussions about the Greek political system both in Greek Mythology and modern times. This can include topics that are violent or sexual in nature, or that touch on sensitive political discussions. All discussions and learning will be conducted in a manner suitable for children. Some video content from the movie, "Clash of the Titans" will be used. Some images from Greek Mythology used in this course may contain "monsters" or images, although not real and only in mythology, that some may find disturbing or frightening. PARENTAL GUIDANCE IS STRONGLY ADVISED.
The National Geographic book, "Treasury of Greek Mythology" by Donna Jo Napoli; clips from the movie, "Clash of the Titans" and the Percy Jackson Series of books.
