This is an easy and fun way that your student can creatively learn measurements, get experience with working in the kitchen and gain knowledge on using basic kitchen gadgets. This is an easy and fun way that your student can creatively learn measurements, get experience with working in the kitchen and gain knowledge on using basic kitchen supplies.

Supplies needed: Mixing Bowls Measuring Cups and Spoons Hand/Stand Mixer Spatula Microwave (For flour only. Microwave on HIGH for 1.5 minutes or until it reaches 160 degrees.) Ingredient list: Unsalted Butter (3 sticks) Granulated Sugar (approx 1 1/4 cup) Brown Sugar (approx 1 cup) Vanilla (approx 3 1/2 tsp.) Milk (approx 1/2 cup) All-Purpose Flour (approx 4 3/4 cups) Salt (1 3/4 tsp.) Mini Chocolate Chips (1 cup) Sprinkles (1/2 cup) Peanut Butter (approx 1/2 cup) Optional: Reese cups minis (1/2 cup/chopped) Reese Pieces (1/2 cup) Any other candy add-ins (approx 1 cup)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Please assist your child with any dietary restrictions and when using kitchen gadgets.
