Class Experience
In this one time class, students will be learning to draw a gnome in the heart garden on watercolor paper. Then we will use watercolor painting techniques to create an adorable and cheerful painting. Blending, wet and dry brush and shading techniques will be taught with watercolor. Learners will be free to choose colors for your gnome, home and background! Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio...
This class is taught in English.
Learners will be practicing directed drawing, drawing from imagination and watercolor painting techniques.
Non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paint set with some light and medium shades. Paint brushes - Small round brush. Cup of water. White watercolor paper. Copy paper will not be thick enough to hold up to the water. Pencil and eraser. Paper towel.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be using a cup of water with our watercolor paints. Please make sure all electronics are protected from water spills. Use only non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paints.
