In this class your student will learn how to make chewy chocolate chip cookies. They will learn the best tricks and what to do to make ooey gooey cookies. In additions we will also discuss different was to save cookie dough and what can be made with extra dough and cookies. Learn to make a cookie ice cream sandwich and how to freeze cookie dough. Class will include a prerecorded video of the cookie making process. This will help to keep my focus on the students and help with they need it....
The student will learn the different steps to making chewy chocolate chip cookies. They will also learn was to make them allergy free.
Flour, sugar, brown sugar, room temperature eggs, softened butter, baking soda, baking powder, salt, vanilla, chocolate chips. Two bowls, sifter, hand mixter or stand mixer, measuring cups, measuring spoons, rubber spatula
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No knives will be used during class. If time allows one batch of cookies will be baked and students may need help taking a hot pan out of the oven. Substitutions will be talked about for any additional allergies.
