Before the class learners should spend some time preparing their idea. This can be in the form of a mood board, a face chart or a colour scheme! If learners didn't fully finish their makeup look they can continue after the class. Learners are encouraged to photograph their look (I also find that this is important to be able to see long term growth and improvement!) - they may share it in the classroom if they wish!Class Experience
Hi MUAs! Are you ready to take on a creative challenge? Each week MUAs (makeup artists) will be presented with a creative challenge. We will then meet and we will create our looks together! The class environment will be relaxed and I will encourage all our MUAs to share some of their tips and tricks as well as what they are creating! At the end of the class, each MUA can present their makeup look and explain parts of their design and creation! After the class MUAs can share pictures of their completed look into the classroom and I welcome learners to positively comment on each others' posts! This class is designed for MUAs who have a basic knowledge of makeup application - they will use these skills to unleash their creativity! Learners should come to class with products and applicators prepared and anything else they would like to incorporate into their design. I believe makeup is a form of self-expression and I love to see MUAs thinking outside the box to create something unique and special! Makeup is for everyone and I welcome all genders and abilities to join us! There is no right or wrong when it comes to makeup as long as the products are safe and are used safely. Each Monday the creative brief will be posted in the classroom- MUAs should take some time to reflect on the brief and brainstorm some ideas. Challenges are kept broad so MUAs can interpret the theme in their own way to come up with their design. Learners are asked to keep their cameras on during class so we can share tips and the stages of our looks! Weekly Challenges Week beginning August 14th - Rainbow Week beginning August 21st - Darkness Week beginning August 28th - Shiny Week beginning September 4th - Space See you soon MUAs!
