If learners didn't fully finish their makeup look they can continue after the class. Learners are encouraged to photograph their looks (I also find that this is important to be able to see long-term growth and improvement!) - they may share it in the classroom if they wish!Class Experience
Hello MUAs! Are you ready to further your makeup skills? Each week MUAs (makeup artists) will explore a different technical aspect in the makeup world. Technical makeup skills are those that require more detail to attention and precision in order to create a technical makeup look. Each week will focus on one skill, this may be focusing on the lip, eyes, brows or face. At the start of each class, I will introduce MUAs to the skill and show them pictures of examples. I will then do a 5-10 minute demonstration and talk through the process and my own tips and tricks to executing the skill. MUAs will then have the opportunity to try it for themselves. They are welcome to put their own creative spin on the technical skill by using different colours or shapes. If we finish early we can work on another part of the face or finish off our makeup to create a full face of makeup. This class is designed for MUAs who have a basic knowledge of makeup application - this class is designed to put their technical skills to the test! Learners should come to class with products and applicators prepared and anything else they would like to incorporate into their design. I believe makeup is a form of self-expression and I love to see MUAs thinking outside the box to create something unique and special! Makeup is for everyone and I welcome all genders and abilities to join us! There is no right or wrong when it comes to makeup as long as the products are safe and are used safely. Each week will require specific supplies in order to be able to fully participate in class. Supplies are listed in the learner supply section below and will be posted in the classroom at the beginning of each week. If learners are missing anything, I will give options and alternatives based on what they bring to class! Learners are asked to keep their cameras on during class so we can share tips and the stages of our skills and so that I can assist, guide and share my tips and tricks where needed! Weekly Skills: Week beginning June 5th - Glitter Lip Week beginning June 12th - Halo Eye Week beginning June 19th - Smokey Eye Week beginning June 26th - Winged Liner Future classes: Temple Drag, Ombre Lip, Matte Lip, Velvet Lip, Pop Art Lip, Freckles, Rainbow Eye, Glitter Eye, Graphic Liner, Winged Liner Learners may also request a technical skill!

Parental Guidance
Allergy warning - please check for product allergies, you can do this by doing a skin test. This also includes lash/glitter glue as this often contains latex which can irritate some skin types.
Please ensure that makeup brushes and applicators are kept clean to avoid any skin/eye irritations. I recommend cleaning at least once a week (preferably after each use)
Please supervise while removing makeup to ensure that makeup is removed safely and gently.
Please ensure that the space is suitable - access to a mirror.
Makeup products may stain or damage clothing, furniture or carpet so please take preventative measures.
Supply List
Learners should have a mirror or be positioned in front of a mirror. I also recommend having some Q-tips/cotton buds, a makeup wipe/cloth. As well as basic makeup and brushes learners will also need the following: Smoky Eye - Black eye pencil, two shades of a chosen eyeshadow color, black eyeshadow, or an eyeshadow palette, eyeshadow blending brushes Chrome Lip - Lipgloss, chrome pigment or any colour (I will be using a MAC Blue Brown pigment, gold and silver pigments work really well for this) Colorful Cut Crease - Eyeshadow palette or a couple of different coloured eyeshadows, concealer, and eyeshadow brushes including a small, fine brush and a small, flat concealer brush Glitter Lip - lip pencil, lipstick, lip gloss, loose glitter, loose powder and brushes including a small flat brush and medium eyeshadow brush
