Description
Class Experience
To define the problem with feeding the growing population. To analyze the role of distribution. To investigate outcomes and challenges of the growing population. To learn the importance of understanding the roles in feeding the world.
Agriculture is all around us, and many of our experiences with agriculture are primarily related to the foods we eat. This lesson will scratch the surface of an issue that has been lingering within the industry for decades.
None for this lesson, all activities will be done during the lesson.
Computer, paper, pen or pencil
Learners will be assessed by informal assessment.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Topics being discussed relate to the challenges that the world will face in trying to feed the increasing population by 2050.
