A persistent grammar puzzle for writers of all ages is when to use “who” and “whom.” What’s the difference? Does it really matter? Misuses of “whom” are everywhere because of this confusion, and they make their writers sound silly. In this class, we’ll take a look at how these pronouns work (including their relationship to pronouns like “he” and “him”), then practice filling in the blank in several sentences, figuring out which pronoun is better.
