Class Experience

This one time class is all about helping your learner put forth their best effort each and every time.

Your learner will begin to recognize different levels of effort by using an 'effort meter', analyzing character performance and completing a self reflection.

The class is broken down into three segments:
1: The Effort Meter
*The effort meter is a 1-5 rating scale that shows what effort may look like at each of the ratings. We will discuss the importance of HIGH effort, and how 'more work is grow work.'

2: Character Analysis
*During this part of class your learner will be introduced to two characters, one whom completes school work with high effort, and the other with low effort. After reading about each character, learners will help to identify the low and high effort behaviors.

3: Effort Reflection
*The effort reflection will be a printable pdf and completed in class.
*After discussing what effort looks like in a general sense, your learner will be ready to set an effort goal. They will decide their current effort rating, goal effort rating and two steps they can take to reach their personalized goal.
