Active Listening: "Listen Like You Mean It"
We’re kicking things off with one of the most powerful skills—listening! Not just hearing, but really paying attention. You’ll learn how body language, eye contact, and asking the right questions can totally change how you connect with people.

Lesson 2:
Respect: "Respect in Every Direction"
Respect isn’t just about being polite — it’s about how we treat others (even when we don’t agree). This week, you’ll practice what respectful communication looks and sounds like in real-life situations.

We all make mistakes. What matters is how we handle them. This week is all about stepping up, being honest, and showing others they can count on you.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! 👋 I’m a certified middle school ELA and Business/Marketing Education teacher with over 15 years of experience working with students in classrooms, homeschool settings, and enrichment programs. I’ve taught everything from communication and character development to entrepreneurship and digital skills — always with a focus on real-world application and helping students build confidence in who they are.
I created Give Me 10 as part of my passion for teaching life-ready skills — the kind that help students succeed not just in school, but in relationships, jobs, and their community. My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and interactive. I guide students with care, meet them where they are, and create a space where they feel seen and supported.
Whether in the classroom or online, my goal is always to help students grow in a way that feels meaningful, empowering, and fun.
