Hello Outschool learners and family! My name is Lydia and I am passionate about supporting all individuals to reach their highest potential! I get so excited about the opportunity to help learners feel encouraged and confident as they grow and develop.

Outside of Outschool I am a school counselor for elementary students and an online English teacher. I have a bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies and a master's degree in School Counseling. I love having the opportunity to work with children and teens because I can help them understand the impact they can make within their classroom, family, community and world. My goal is to help create a better tomorrow! :)

My classes will always include topics to foster social and emotional development. I offer classes focusing on social skills, character education, life skills, and support. It is important to build connections. When your student enters my class I promise they will always feel special, welcomed and valued. The skills I teach learners are skills that will stick with them for life.

I am a very active and loving person. Some of my favorite things include being outside and enjoying the sunshine, trying new things, spending time with my family and pets, exercising, reading, baking and gardening.

I truly look forward to seeing you in class! I can wait to learn about you :)
