Welcome to Girl Chat, a safe space for girls to learn and have fun! In this ongoing course girls will become empowered through both discussion, games and activities focused on building self-confidence, self-esteem and self-advocacy.

Girl Chat will focus on enabling girls to build their confidence through both discussion as well as a related activities and games! This class will largely focus will developing self-confidence in a safe space where girls can learn and have fun! Students will be encouraged to participate as they feel comfortable in discussion, thought provoking questions and activities (both group and individual). Students will work towards improving their self-confidence, self-esteem and self-advocacy. Additionally, students will work on positively speaking about themselves and others and in turn learn to build positive friendships and connections.
For each week participants will require paper (can be lined, construction, etc) as well as something to write with it will work best if the girls have multiple colours of crayons, pencil crayons or markers!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
