Students will self evaluate, they will compare how the workouts felt at the beginning of the session compared to the end. There will be mini-challenges they can do to compare their progress during the class. For example, how many squats can they do in one minute?Class Experience
In this FLEX class, students will learn fitness exercises, proper techniques for movements, stretches, and workouts. Students will receive a minimum of 3 workouts per week. During each class, I will begin with sharing a fitness exercise. Students will learn the exercises for that workout and how to do it safely/properly at home. I will have a video demonstrating how to do each exercise properly and ways to modify it to allow all fitness levels to participate in this class. Finally, students will share their favorite workout, favorite exercise and tell the other classmates and teacher why they liked each of those things. This class is for all fitness levels. Students do not need any previous exercise skills or exercise classes to join! Students should be dressed in activewear that allows them to move freely during our class. Following the class, students will share how they felt during their workout, what was easy in the workout, and what was hard in the workout. Since this class is a flex class students will be able to commute through classroom board chats, or email to discuss any ideas the student has or workout requests. Students will be encouraged to create an exercise list or their own challenge for classmates and share those through pictures or videos on the classroom board. Students will be encouraged to share their workouts on the message board or through email. Our fitness class is a positive class, I would like to see others cheering others and motivating thru the weeks of workouts/class.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parents should guide students while they are working out. Please give the student enough space to move freely without objects in their way. It is important to wear the proper clothing for class. Consultant your doctor if you have any medical conditions before taking an exercise class.
Supply List
Students will be provided a workout demonstration done by myself. I will also provide a PowerPoint for each lesson. I encourage all students to have water available when they are doing the workout, wearing the proper shoes and clothing (something that is comfortable to move in). Also it is important for the students to have space to move and exercise. Weights can be used but they are not required.
