There are many online apps that can help you create exciting and dynamic video content. Work alongside me in this one-time class to create your own videos, using the free online software from Canva.com

Whether you want to create a YouTube intro video or a short film for friends and family, Canva has the tools you need without requiring expensive software and hardware. We will explore the simplicity of the software and learn how to incorporate free resources (sounds, images, and video clips) into your own content. 

The class will cover:
•	How to upload and manage your media clips
•	How to add media to the timeline
•	Trimming, split and resizing clips
•	Adding graphics, transitions, and text animations
•	Adding audio tracks 
•	Exporting your completed movie

This course is designed to run on a desktop PC or laptop. This course is not suitable for tablet or phone users. Students will need to have access to a free Canva account before the first session. Students are welcome to attend more than 1 session of the class if they would like further support honing their video editing skills.

Canva requires all account holders to be aged 13 or older – parents will need to create an account for students aged under 13 years. It is recommended that all students log in with a parent account. This course uses the free version of Canva; you do not need to upgrade to a paid subscription.
