Description

Class Experience

This class is intended for students entering kindergarten and introduces the letters of the alphabet, their sounds, and their formation.  A strong foundation in phonics is essential to pre-reading skills and kindergarten success.  Get your student started off on the right foot by giving them this practice!  A variety of methods will be used to teach and reinforce skills, including; videos, songs, games, and activities.

Students will improve their phonics skills, letter recognition, and letter sounds.

I am currently a kindergarten teacher and have been teaching kindergarten for 4 years now.  I have a Master's in Elementary Education.

Students should have a pencil, paper, and crayons.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:ABC Mouse

2 hours 5 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
