Description
Class Experience
Students will develop a conceptual understanding of equations and will be able to identify which operation to use to solve an equation. Operations may include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers. They will learn how to identify a solution to an equation with given numbers as well as by using inverse operations.
I've worked with varied levels of math students over the years. Teaching is a craft, and I have the skills to reach every type of learner. I believe in making math learning fun for my students.
Please have a writing utensil along with paper for notes and practice. A small whiteboard is optional, but a great resource.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
