Class Experience
We will go on a curated 4-week journey that will allow us to: - Explore data careers and careers using data - Learn what is data science and see applications of data science - Collect data and the share the data story - Ask stronger questions to increase data insight This curriculum was developed by Women in Data as an initiative to awaken and foster data curiosity! This class is taught in English.
- Students will explore data careers, learn what is data science and see applications of data science. They will also collect data and the share the data story and ask stronger questions to increase data insight.
Our teachers have the experience and the passion to teach on Data Science/Data related fields. Each of our teachers have 5+ years of experience in Data Science. Some have a background in teaching prior to their shift into Data Science roles such as: Data Analyst, Chief Data Officer, Business Analyst, etc. Our teachers have given talks to our global community and have spoken at numerous events on data. Our teachers are passionate about sharing their knowledge in Data Science to the next generation.
Students have the optional challenge activity given after each lesson to dive deeper into the data experience.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
