Description

Class Experience

In this weekly on-going course, learners will get together to socialize and get creative with their own modeling dough! 

Each week's discussions and creations will be based around the theme of the week listed below. Although the themes for each week are chosen ahead of time and are listed below, learners will lead the discussions with Mrs. Alex facilitating as needed. When facilitating, Mrs. Alex will ask prompting questions to help keep discussion and creativity flowing. Mrs. Alex will also...

This class is taught in English.

Learners will keep their brains active through questioning about letters and numbers that may be associated with their modeling dough creations. They will also be actively improving fine motor skills, all through play.

Modeling dough, whether store bought or homemade is required.
Cookie cutters, rolling pins, and other molding or modeling tools are optional.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parents should be advised that most store brand modeling dough, such as Play Doh brand, may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction for learners with a wheat intolerance or allergy. 
Most modeling dough brands are non-toxic, but modeling dough should not be ingested in large amounts.
