Teacher expertise and credentials
New Jersey Teaching Certificate in Foreign Language
Master's Degree in Foreign Language from Universidad de Salamanca
I am a native speaker of Spanish and I have taught all levels of the language from beginner to advanced placement in high school. In my years growing up in a Cuban household, studying in Spain for my Master's degree and teaching both kids and adults, I have learned strategies to engage the students and make learning a new language fun and exciting. Learning how to navigate everyday situations such as shopping, giving directions or ordering at a restaurant helps students acquire the communicative skills necessary to survive in the language.
