❗Calling all Preschool and ESL students❗

Welcome to my virtual kindergarten classroom! Here, students will learn essential skills to start kindergarten with a solid foundation in reading.

⭐ I am a veteran teacher with over ten years of experience teaching kindergarten, first grade, and reading intervention. Although I recently resigned as a public school teacher, I am excited to continue supporting students' success by preparing preschool students for kindergarten.

⭐My goal for my preschool students is to start kindergarten with a strong foundation in reading. To achieve this, we will focus on developing early literacy skills, including vocabulary, phonological awareness, reading comprehension, and print awareness.

⭐This is an ongoing, year-round class. Each day is independent of the other. You can withdraw and reenroll at any time.

⭐The class is fast-paced, but all skills will be reinforced throughout the year.

⭐Resources will be provided 24 hours before class.

The skills we will focus on throughout the year include:

Language Arts πŸ”
βœ…Letter Sound Relationship
βœ…Phonemic Awareness
βœ…Reading Comprehension

Math πŸ”’

Hi! My name is Lori, and I’ve been a teacher for 12 years. Besides my time in the classroom, I’ve spent five years teaching English to ELL students and teaching CogAT classes online. The best part of teaching online is meeting students from all over the worldβ€”I hope to see your student in class soon! πŸ™‚
