I've been a teacher in a traditional classroom since 2002. During that time, I have experience with pre-K through 8th grade. To further my interest in photography, I completed the New York Institute of Photography courses and received my certificate of completion in 2006. I've also completed several online training to strengthen my skills. I have photographed weddings, real estate, and portraits professionally but I absolutely love photographing nature and macro shots!
There will be one assignment at the end of class, due the next day. Students will be asked to submit a photograph to the classroom wall that is clear and in focus. Students should be able to explain which features they used to create their photograph.
Digital camera, memory card for uploading.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Student is informally assessed through the quiz game at the end of the lesson, as well as through their photograph assignment.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents may need to assist students in uploading their photos to the classroom wall.
