Get to Know the Cast of Hamilton!

We fell in love with their characters and now we want to know more about the people behind the character! In this one-time class, we will be discussing six of the main actors who starred in the American musical Hamilton. 

We will be introduced to:
Lin-Manuel Miranda (Alexander Hamilton)
Phillipa Soo (Eliza Hamilton)
Renee Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler)
Daveed Diggs (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson)
Anthony Ramos {John Laurens/ Phillip Hamilton)
Jonathan Groff (King George) 

We will be diving into the backstory of each actor to learn how they came to be a part of this amazing play! We will discuss where they grew up, who they were influenced by and what encouraged them go into musical theatre. We'll end the class with a  kahoot quiz to see what everyone remembers!

I like for my classes to be very interactive. As we discuss each actor, I will be asking the learners to think about their own goals and how they might reach them. I have seen this musical live and on film and I am excited to share my passion for it with your student!
