US Grade Preschool - 1

Knowing and recognizing sight words is one of the key components to become a fluent reader. 
In this 15 minute class we will build sight word recognition while playing a fun game. 
Each learner will be given a printable bingo sheet. No two learners will receive the same sheet. 
I will begin the class by explaining the rules, and showing the learners my word cards. 
Then I will put the cards in a hat and draw them out randomly.
Each time I draw a word, I will say it and pause to let learners...

I have a BA in English and Early Childhood development, and have been teaching and tutoring reading for over 20 years.

Your learner will need to print out their assigned bingo sheet, and bring something to mark their squares. This could be a marker or some form of tokens (pennies, beads, M&Ms, etc...)

15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
