US Grade Kindergarten
Beginner Level
Getting ready for Kindergarten is so exciting, and so much fun! In this class, we will start our day with a circle time- learning the days of the week, the weather, and our feelings. We will then work in our subject of the day- Math and ELA. They will learn to listen to the teacher, follow directions, raise their hands, and participate! By the end of our time together, your learner will be well versed in all of the academics of what kindergarten will entail. We will also have a story each day, Play a game, and if we have time, we can do a brain break. By the end of this class, I hope your learner will be excited to start their new chapter of being a "Kindergartener"!
Learning Goals
Students will learn the alphabet, numbers 1-10, to follow directions, shape/pattern recognition, learn sight words, days of the weeks, and how to express their feelings

Hello! My name is Dina, and I am excited to have you here! First and foremost, I am a mama to 4 kidlings. Most are grown and 3 have left the nest, but I have 1 left at home. I love teaching kids. I love the "aha" on a child's face when they understand a new concept. I love the personalities that I come across. I have been teaching English online for several years to children ages 3-16. I have also been a preschool teacher for over 20 years.
If I could have had another career, I might have been a librarian, because I LOVE reading! Reading is one of my favorite hobbies!
Some of my other hobbies include hiking, gardening, my pets, and cooking!
I believe in finding the spark of curiosity that lives in every child, and encouraging it to grow. I hope to inspire my students through engagement with reading, learning, cooking, a positive mindset, play and laughter.
When I am not teaching classes I am a wedding officiant! I get to marry people~ which is so rewarding and special. :)
I have an ECE degree, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Masters in Business, and a Doctorate in Divinity. I also have my TESOL and TOEFL certifications.
I hope you will be inspired to have a class with me, and I am hopeful your child will have as much fun with me, as I plan to with them!
See you in the classroom!
Sincerely, Dina
