Description
Class Experience
Each week students will engage in a fun theme that includes essential components of reading instruction: *comprehension * vocabulary *fluency *phonological awareness *phonics and word analysis Other literacy topics include: *grammar, writing and visual discrimination Students will work with a small group and the teacher to complete the daily activity.
K-5 Reading/Writing Licensed Specialist K-5 Licensed Elementary Teacher 17 Years classroom experience 4 Years online teaching experience ESOL certified
Small assignments that help with reading will be assigned outside of class
Weekly Themed Units will be sent prior to each class. Please print out prior to class. Pencil, paper, colors
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
