Beginner Level
Students will.. 1. Gain Phonemic Awareness (the most basic competent of reading) 2. Gain a foundation In letter sounds and identification 3. Learn basic high frequency words 4. Gain a foundation in in one to one correspondence 5. Gain a foundation in independence 6. Gain skill necessary to succeed in Kindergarten Class is experienced though video and Google slides. Class will start with a morning introduction/ good mornings, and will progress into phonemic awareness, some phonics, and a shared reading of the week. We will go over a calendar for one to one correspondence, days of the week, and months of the year, and end with a good bye song.
