In this exciting class, we will focus on the key skills that will prepare you for high school. We’ll strengthen your reading comprehension, writing, math, and teamwork skills—all while making learning fun! You’ll dive into analyzing literary texts, writing essays, solving algebraic problems, and practicing time management. With each lesson, you’ll gain more confidence and be ready to tackle the challenges of high school. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to engage with the material, ask questions, and work with your classmates. Whether it’s through fun writing exercises, math challenges, or group collaboration, this class is designed to keep you motivated and ready for the next academic year. Teacher expertise and credentials
I bring a wealth of experience from my diverse background in education, law, media, and entrepreneurship. I hold a BA in Journalism from the University of Texas and a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University, where I developed strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
I’ve homeschooled my daughter from 3rd through 11th grade and have worked as a substitute teacher in California, where I’ve taught students from Pre-K to 12th grade in a variety of subjects. I also run my own Professional Speakers Agency and production company, which has helped me develop creative teaching methods to make learning engaging.
In my current role as the founder of Bee TV Inc., a streaming network, I’m constantly integrating new technology into my teaching to keep lessons interactive and dynamic. My goal is to help students build confidence and develop a love for learning, ensuring that they are prepared for high school and beyond.
Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to engage students, foster their curiosity, and guide them through their educational journey with enthusiasm and support.
