US Grade 3
In this ongoing class, students will review 2nd grade skills that they will need for 3rd grade math as well as learn foundations of 3rd grade math. Week of July 2nd- We will practice 3 digit addition with and without regrouping. We will also review place value, digits, the value of digits, and even and odd numbers. Week of July 9th- We will practice 3 digit subtraction with and without borrowing. Students will be asked to explain how to solve problems. We will also use math vocabulary to explain our answers and how we got them. Week of July 16th- We will practice making and reading fractions, lines of symmetry, and graphs Week of July 23rd- We will practice multiplication 0's, 1's, 5's, 10's and using groups to solve multiplication. Week of July 30th- We will practice counting and identifying coins and telling time. New lessons will be added on for the month of August.

Students will need a paper and pencil or whiteboard and marker for each class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
