US Grade 1
In this week long class, students will review kindergarten skills that they will need for 1st grade math as well as learn foundations of 1st grade math. Day 1- We will warm up with counting objects, writing numbers, and seeing if each object has a partner. We will practice adding 1 digit numbers. Day 2- We will warm up with ten frames and writing equations that go with the ten frame. We will work on completing number bonds and subtracting 1 digit numbers. Day 3- We will warm up with spatial sense ( on top, below, next to). We will work on adding doubles. Day 4- We will warm up with adding 1 digit numbers. We will work on identifying and counting coins. Day 5- We will warm up with patterns. We will work on rainbow numbers (numbers we can add together to get 10).

Students will need paper and pencil or white board and marker for each class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
