The students will be able to understand and solve and do common core Fifth Grade Math. The students will learn adding, subtracting, multiplying, word problems , dividing, fractions, and percent. The first and second week- May 1st - May 9th- The students will be working on adding two and three digit numbers and subtracting two digit and three digit numbers. The third and fourth week- May 15th- May 23rd- The students will working on multiplying three and two digit numbers and word problems.On the last week - May 30th - June 1st -The students will learn about Fractions and Decimals. Every week students will play Kahoot and Jeopardy Math Games and get groups into of twos to play a game against each other to test their knowledge and math skills. The students will gain math skills through lecture, fun games, slides, and video clips.The students will be able to work in small groups , large groups and split up in breakout rooms to help each other solve problems and come up with problems on their own. I would like to let everyone know that I love teaching and feel good when students smile and enjoy my class.
