Beginner - Intermediate Level
During this class students will have a brief introduction to the artist, Mary Cassatt. They will draw one of her famous paintings called “Children Playing on the Beach.” They will understand how Mary used color and shadow to create her beautiful portraits! During the first half of class students will develop the drawing in five progressive steps. They will learn that drawings can also be broken down into five basic shapes.
