Description

Class Experience

During this class students will have a brief introduction to the artist, Claude Monet and learn about the art movement he founded known as “Impressionism.” This will be followed by a drawing lesson in which students will draw one of Monet’s famous paintings called, “Woman with Parasol.”  During the first half of class students will develop the drawing in 5 progressive steps. They will learn that drawings can also be broken down into 5 basic shapes. Monet used bold colorful brush strokes and...
