Students will learn to be comfortable with who they are and learn how move to feel fit. Each learner with learn how warm-up the body followed by exercise games to build coordination and balance. I will show that they can use a water is a great form of resistance. They will be able to fill the bottle to what they fell works for their ability. I will demonstrate how to do each exercise and the learner will copy the movements. The class will end with yoga balance and sport stretching.
I have a Masters degree as an Exercise Physiologist. I have 22 years of experience as a holistic wellness & fitness coach. I own a wellness business for 20 years called BodyXpress Wellness Solutions. For the last 30 years I have worked with kids of all ages and abilities.
Items needed Two water bottles (8oz -16oz) (Throwaway bottles or reusable water bottles work great.) Towel to wipe sweat and use to lay on Yoga or sport mat - towel works as well Comfortable shorts/pants and t-shirt. Comfortable shoes if on a hard surface - if on carpet shoes off works well
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Parental guidance is recommend to help set-up the exercise area. A 8x8 foot area should be free of objects or distractions. Please help your leaner with with picking light 2 to 5lbs weights and or resistance bands. Please have them wear comfortable shoes, short/pants and t-shirt.
